About Laughing Dogs
Hello my name is Sonja and I love dogs. I set up Laughing Dogs more than 20 years ago and with my partner Simon we provide reliable, flexible, trained professional dog walking in wonderful environments.
We listen to your requirements and tailor our walks to your dogs needs. We've been putting smiles on your dogs faces ever since .
We are very affordable and our rates are in line with other local dog walkers in the area.

What Makes Us Different?
Everything we do at Laughing Dogs is designed to maximise the benefit to your dog.

All our walking is undertaken by Sonja or Simon - we are not a franchise. We are a local business with 20 years of dog walking experience in the Tunbridge Wells area.
We don't charge extra for pick-up or drop-off from nearby locations (other areas by arrangement) and we are a fully registered and tax-paying business.

Our Dog Walking Services
We provide professional trained dog walking in the Royal Tunbridge Wells area including Rusthall, Langton Green, Southborough and tailor our walks and service to the best outcome for your dog.
We are happy to provide solo walks for your furry VIP so they get one-on-one attention and benefit from a tailored walk specific to the needs of your dog's breed/age, and any of your own preferences.
Puppies and older dogs both have special needs. Puppies have bags of energy and lots to learn and a puppy dog walk will help channel that energy in positive ways and help improve early years behaviours.

Older dogs may be in declining health or just want an easy walk that meets their energy levels - walking an older dog is essential to prolonging their lifespan and can help improve their physical and mental health.

We specialise in group walking - there is nothing better to help socialise your dog and improve behaviour around other dogs and breeds. Younger dogs particularly can benefit from walking with mature dogs and learning good behaviours when out.

Our rates are discussed in advance and are competitive with other dog walkers in the area. We offer good discounts for new customers (minimum regular bookings of 3-5 walks per week) for an initial introductory period.

Why Does My Dog Need Walking?
Thanks for visiting our website - we love walking dogs and we would love to make your dog a 'Laughing Dog' - call now to book a walk or activity.
Walking is an essential part of every dogs’ daily physical and mental health routine - it's not a 'treat'. Most dogs need at least 1-2 walks per day (unless otherwise specified by your vet). A brisk walk is a great opportunity for them to burn off extra energy, while a slow, meandering walk in interesting surroundings sniffing and exploring is great for their mental health.
Walking is also a learning activity to ensure your dog can cope with the world outside. This includes how dogs react with others. It also helps to prevent behavioural traits that can lead to poor behaviour indoors.
Play doesn't replace a good walk, play is essential too but dogs need both EVERY day. Walks for health and socialising and play for bonding and developing trust and relieving boredom. Here at Laughing Dogs we understand what makes a great dog walk and you will see the difference.
